Chica was a gift from a husband to a wife.  Everything was great until the couple divorced, and neither of them could keep this loyal family member.  Instead of taking the responsibility to care for Chica her entire life, they decided to get rid of her instead.  Divorce is hard on any family, but it can cost a family pet it's life.

Chica is about 2 1/2 years old.  She is a big, beautiful, black and tan female.  She is housebroken, and is good with kids, cats, and even small dogs.  Chica would like to find a home where she won't have to worry about being the victim of hard times ever again.  She is not used to being in a kennel, so being at the rescue has been very hard for her.  Although she barks at visitors, she is very sweet and loving when she gets to know you.
