Adopted Dogs

Dilbert is a total lover.  He has been waiting and waiting at a county animal shelter for someone to adopt him, but because his ears never stood up properly, people keep passing him by.  Dilbert gave our volunteer gentle kisses through the bars at the animal shelter, so when the shelter told us that he had "run out of time" we knew that we had to help him find his forever home.

Dilbert is a purebred shepherd between 10-12 months with two soft ears.  He is very tall and lanky, but once he fills in, we expect him to be around 80-85 pounds.  Sometimes, despite the best diet and care, a German Shepherd's ears just won't stand erect.  We don't believe that this makes them any less deserving of a fantastic home!  Dilbert's face has true character!

When Dilbert's time ran out at the county shelter, our rescue shelter was full, so he is currently in a boarding facility.  Dilbert's boarding costs really add up, so he is looking for a sponsor to help offset the cost of $70.00 per week. Can you help?

If you wish to meet Dilbert, please send an email to the German Shepherd Rescue at or call (310) 838-6694 and ask how you can arrange to meet Dilbert.
