Franz is a handsome classic black and tan male about 3 years old.  He is the son of Fritz.  He is a big-boned boy, with the long, elegant body stride of a show dog.  He has a beautiful coat and a nice stance.  Franz has had obedience training.

Franz and Fritz came into the rescue together.  They got out of their owners yard, and got picked up by animal control.  When their owner was notified that the dogs were at the shelter, the owner declined to come to get them because he didn't want to pay the fee to bail them out.  The owner gave up on these two gorgeous dogs rather than to pay about $60 to get them safely out of the shelter.
