Franz is a handsome 3-4 year old classic black and tan male with a gorgeous, dark face.  He is medium to large in size, and will fill out to be about 80 pounds.  He is a calm dog and walks well on a leash.  Franz is very people oriented, and he is very responsive and loving.  He tries very hard to please his people, and has to be reminded that he is too large to be a "lap dog".  He rides well in the car, and enjoys traveling.  Franz likes other dogs and shows no interest in cats.  Franz absolutely adores children.

Several people notified us when they saw Franz in a local shelter.  With so many people asking us to rescue this dog, we figured there had to be something very special about him.  They were right!  Franz is an exceptional dog.
