Jaeger has been one of the long-time
residents at the rescue. He is 10 years old. He
originally came to us when his owner passed away. Her
children could not keep Jaeger, and they were desperate to find a
way to keep him from having to go to a shelter. Jaeger was
trained by the Monks of New Skeet, and is very well behaved.
He gets along well with other dogs.
As a senior citizen at the
rescue, he has some stiffness in his back legs, but LOVES to go
for walks. He insists on being walked every day, and the
volunteers enjoy taking him because he is so good on a
leash. We would love to find him a home where he can be
happy, safe, warm, and cherished in his retirement years.

Jaeger has been adopted! Although we will
all miss him terribly, we know that
he will be much happier being in a nice, loving home.
