German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Raven is a gorgeous 11 month old pure black German Shepherd with a very aristocratic look. She is sweet, friendly and alert and will make a wonderful addition to an active family. Raven is a high energy pup that would do well with an adult who likes to jog or hike, or with a family that can throw the ball for her and take her through obedience school, or even agility training. She wants very much to please her people, and makes great eye contact! She does well with other non-aggressive dogs and walks nicely on a leash. She has had some obedience training, but she only likes to show off her talents if you have a treat for her!

Raven was turned in by her owners because she got too big for them. They were unfamiliar with the German Shepherd breed, and did not realize that the small puppy they adopted at 8 weeks of age would grow into a 70 pound dog within a matter of a few months. Now, Raven is looking for a home where she will be loved and appreciated for the beautiful girl that she is!
