Slinky is a handsome 2 year old black and tan male.  He is good with other dogs, even small dogs.  Slinky loves kids.  He is rather on the shy side, and has to get to know you before he feels comfortable.  He will need a home where he is given the time to find his place in the family, and where he will learn to be more self-confident.  We would like to see him go to a home with experienced German Shepherd owners whom he can look up to as the "alpha" leaders of the family.

Slinky was turned in because he was the third dog in the household, and the homeowners association started to enforce their "two dog limit" rule.
