German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Spike's is a typical story that we hear. He was found wandering the streets with another dog. A kind person brought them both to an animal shelter to help them be reunited with their owner. The two dogs sat patiently waiting for their owner to come, but no one did. The person who rescued them was desperate to help these two dogs because they had run out of time at the animal shelter.

Spike is a sweet boy. We estimate that he is around 6-7 years old. He must have had a happy home at some time because he appears healthy and well cared for. He is calm and quiet, and seems confused as to why he is not at home curled up in front of a cozy fireplace. The dog that was found running with Spike is Tyke, whom we believe might be his son. These two sweet boys both lost their home, and almost lost their lives because their owner did not come for them. We would like to find them both new homes where they will never be abandoned again.
