Tex

Tex looks so surprised in this picture!  Maybe it is because this is all so new to him, and he is trying to understand why he ended up at the rescue.  He is about 4 years old, and is very calm and easy to walk.  He is housebroken, and has some obedience training.  Tex gets along well with some dogs if he is introduced properly.

Tex was turned in by an elderly woman who is moving into a rest home.  It is so sad that he lost his home because his owner did not plan for his future.  It is very important to provide for your pets in the event that you become unable to care for them.  Please, put your pets in your will and make sure that you have someone who will take them into their home if you are no longer able!  If you are a senior citizen, consider adopting an older dog instead of a puppy.
