German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Thor is a very impressive 2.5 year old male with beautiful dark markings. He is the offspring of a decorated police K9 and a solid black German Shepherd mother. Thor knows basic obedience including sit, come, heel, and he walks well on a leash, that is, until he sees another dog. Thor is housebroken and he loves children.

Thor was given up by a breeder-owner who brought him into the world. He was surrendered because he was not getting along with other dogs. Sadly, when we recommended that Thor be neutered so that he could stay in the family and work out this problem, his family did not choose this option. We recommend that Thor go to a seasoned German Shepherd owner who can obedience train him to be a good family member. At the rescue, Thor has been fine with other dogs and has been a little on the submissive side.
