Atlas is a magnificent dark-coated male who gets along with everyone that he meets. He is a mellow guy with German features, and probably weighs around 80 pounds. Atlas is somewhere between 5 and 6 years old. He has had some leash training and responds very well to affection and praise. He is as sweet as could be and gets along well with other dogs.

Atlas was picked up as a stray by animal control. He waited patiently for the owner that he had served for 5 years to come and rescue him, but no one ever came. German Shepherd Rescue watched and waited with Atlas for more than four weeks because our rescue shelter is full. Finally, we knew that we had to step in to prevent him from being destroyed.

We brought Atlas to a big adoption event. At first, he was a little intimidated by the hundreds of people walking by our booth. But after a short time, he was out greeting people like a trooper! He did so well that we brought him back the next day!

ATLAS IS IN NEED OF A SPONSOR TO HELP OFFSET THE COSTS OF HIS BOARDING BECAUSE OUR RESCUE IS FULL. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP THIS DESERVING BOY WHILE WE SEARCH FOR HIS NEW FAMILY?
