Buster

Buster is a very gentle 3 1/2 year old rare black and red sable male.  He has a beautiful coat, and tips the scales just under 100 pounds.  He is housebroken, and loves attention.  He is easy to walk.  Buster is an easy going and confident boy.  He gets along with other dogs, and would prefer a home where he has another dog for company, or where someone is home most of the day.

Buster was owned by an elderly lady who was being evicted from her home.  Buster was living there along with two other dogs.  A kindly neighbor stepped in to try to find homes for the dogs, because the elderly owner was unable.  When we received a message about Buster, he only had ONE DAY to find a place to go, or he would have been brought to the pound!  We took Buster in immediately.  Now, Buster has the time to find a good, loving, permanent home.  (By the way, the other two dogs found homes, too - thanks to some animal-loving neighbors!).

Buster just attended a "Halloween Party" at a local church to help promote the German Shepherd Rescue.  He did really well, playing with the kids at the event and meeting all kinds of new and strangely-dressed people.  His favorite part was when he laid down on his back and everybody scratched his tummy.
