Carey is a darling, shy 5-6 month old black and tan female.  She is very sweet and loving.  She is submissive to other large dogs, but can get a little bossy with dogs smaller than herself.  She would do well in a quiet home where she will be pampered.  She does not do well with children, possibly because of some past abuse that she suffered at the hands of some children.

We don't know what happened to Carey prior to her rescue from a local animal shelter, but she is extremely shy and frightened.  Once she gets settled in, she does become more self-assured and vocal.  She really needs some TLC, and will start to gain some confidence once she learns that she is loved and cared for.
