Diamond

Like the songs says...  ~You sure do shine~

Diamond is a beautiful and very loving girl.  Take her for a ride in the car and she will be yours forever.  When you take Diamond for a walk she dances with glee at the attention being shown to her.  She may be 4, but she is as frisky as can be as she does her "Happy Dance" when she knows that she gets to go bye-bye.

Recently, on an outing with a volunteer to Dog Beach in Huntington Beach, Diamond had a great time frolicking in the waves and running up and down the beach with two other dogs.  She was also a very good girl and came right away every time she was called.  When the volunteer sat on the blanket on the beach and cuddled with Diamond, she just sighed with contentment at being out of her run at the rescue and being in someone's arms.  Later when they went to Starbucks, Miss Diamond was the perfect lady.  She warmly greeted all who approached her and was the perfect Ambassador for German Shepherd Rescue.

Although, Miss Diamond was a wonderful dining companion (she prefers turkey on wheat ThankYouVeryMuch, and nicely shared the blanket) with the volunteer who took her on the outing to the beach, we do not recommend Miss Diamond for families with small children.  At some point in her life, Diamond had a rough time of it, and is now protective of her food and toys.  She is good with older children who understand not to take her things away from her.  Diamond is housebroken.

Do you have room in your heart and life for this very special and loving furkid?

Diamond is currently in a boarding facility because the rescue is full.  If you wish to meet her, please fill out an application by clicking on the button below, or call (714) 206-9002 and ask about Diamond.
