Eliza

German Shepherd Rescue received a call from a frantic citizen regarding a German Shepherd running down the middle of a four-lane highway.  The owner took this poor dog to Dog Beach in Huntington Beach and removed her tag and collar.  He then told her to lay down and stay.  The next thing anybody knew, he was driving off in his car and this poor little girl was chasing his car down the highway!  No one could believe anyone could be so cruel!!!  These wonderful ladies jumped in their car and followed the dog.  They finally caught up to the dog in a field where she was laying down, exhausted and panting heavily to try to cool herself.  She had been abandoned in the most cruel way.

German Shepherd Rescue rushed to save this little girl and get her safe.  She is a big and beautiful 3 year old classic black and tan female.  She is very sweet and has some training, but she could use a refresher obedience course with her new owner.  She is already housebroken.  She gets along with other non-aggressive dogs once she is introduced to them properly.  Because of her previous abandonment, she does not like to be left alone for long periods of time.  She has requested a home where her people won't leave her home alone for long hours.  We have named her Eliza and she is now looking for a family that will love her and help mend her broken heart...  Could this be you?
