Greta is very low-key and loves to just lounge around the house.  She is completely housebroken, and does well when left home alone.  She is very loving with children and curled up next to an 8 year old visitor and contently slept for hours with her head in the little girls lap.  Greta is a favorite at the rescue because of her calm and attentive nature.  She can get along with other dogs once she gets to know them, but would also love to be the only princess in the home.  However, she does like to give cats a good chasing, so no cats or small dogs, please!

We can't understand why Greta's owners did not come to claim her at the animal shelter.  When her time ran out, thankfully German Shepherd Rescue was there to save this spectacular girl.
