Gunther is just a big teddy-bear.  We mean B I G.  He is huge and impressive, and has one soft ear that gives him character.  We also call him "Lover Boy" because he loves everyone.  Gunther ran out of time at a local shelter and the director of the shelter called us personally to ask that we save this wonderful dog. We then got a call from a volunteer at the shelter offering whatever it would take to save this sweet boy.

When our volunteer got to the shelter and Gunther was brought out, a little boy about 5 came over.  Before our volunteer could do anything, the little boy just wrapped his arms around Gunther's huge neck.  Gunther stood perfectly still and just smiled at the affection he was being shown by this little animal lover.  Gunther has had some obedience because he heels perfectly on a leash.  He is also a perfect gentleman while riding in the car. Somewhere out there is a very lucky family just waiting for a wonderful dog like Gunther...
