Hans

Hans is a big, handsome 9-10 year old long-haired black and tan male.  He is very sweet, loving, and easy going.  He would like nothing more than to sit at your feet and keep you company.  He is housebroken and is very gentle and well behaved.  Although he has a little arthritis, he gets around well and still enjoys a leisurely stroll.

Hans was originally owned by a family who moved out of the country and left him alone with no food or water in the backyard.  A concerned neighbor stepped in to rescue Hans after he was so cruelly abandoned.  Although we don't know how he got the scar around his muzzle, we suspect that his mouth had been wired shut at some point to stop him from barking.  He will carry these scars for the rest of his life.

We thought that we had given Hans a happy ending when he was adopted by a wonderful woman who loved him very much.  Sadly, his new person became ill and could not take care of Hans any more.  Her family did not want him, and so Hans came back to the rescue.  Poor Hans is so sad to have lost his wonderful person, and he desperately wants to find someone who will love him.

Hans is currently in a boarding facility.  If you are interested in adopting Hans, please fill out an application by clicking on the button below, or call (714) 206-9002 and ask how you can arrange to meet Hans.
