Hurley is a 18 month old black
and tan male. He is a big boy with classic markings.
He has a great personality and is very intelligent. He is
playful, alert, and gets along with other dogs. Hurley is
good with kids. He is housebroken and has some training.
Because he is still young, he could still benefit from further
obedience training. He has lots of energy, and would do well
in an active home.
Hurley was rescued from an animal
shelter by a kind person who could not stand to see this nice dog
be killed. She intended to foster him and help him to find a
home, but her situation at home changed and she was not able to
continue to foster Hurley. She asked the rescue to help this
nice dog to find a new home.
We just found out that Hurley's
original owner turned him in to the shelter because he wasn't a
very good guard dog. They replaced him with a Pit Bull to
guard their property. Hurley is such a loving and sweet dog,
we are glad that we rescued him from this type of situation!
Hurley is currently in a foster
home. If you wish to meet him, please fill out an
