Ilsa is a very pretty 18-month-old black and
tan female rescued from a large animal shelter when her time ran
out. She has just arrived, so we are getting to know her
better.
All too often, people adopt German
Shepherds for the wrong reasons and then give up on them when they
become active teenagers. We suspect that this may have been
the case with Ilsa. Most German Shepherds outgrow their
bouncy, boisterous behavior by the time they turn two years old,
but many uneducated owners don't give these wonderful dogs a
chance to mature. They simply dump them like unwanted trash.
Can you help Ilsa to find a loving family
who will cherish her?
