A family was vacationing at a local surfing spot and noticed a stunning German Shepherd running on the beach, playing in the waves, and frolicking with the children.  They were the last to leave the beach that day, and this beautiful dog was just sitting on the beach, apparently waiting for someone.

This happened for several days.  Everyday, this beautiful and proud boy waited for his people.  No one ever came for him.  Finally, they asked a local resident about the dog.  They were told that he had come camping to this spot with his family, but when they left, he was cruelly left behind.  He sat there, day, after day, after day waiting for them to return for him.

After hearing this story, the people who found him could not bring themselves to leave him to starve or suffer anymore, so they brought him home with them.  Unfortunately, their dog preferred to be an "only dog", so they called German Shepherd Rescue to help.  We named him Beautiful Beau, and he is now looking for a family of his own that will never desert him.  Could this be you?

Beau is around 2 years old.  He is black and tan with a gorgeous coat.  He currently weighs around 70 pounds, but will put on some weight once he is on a good diet.  He has some obedience training, walks nicely on leash, and seems to get along well with other dogs of all sizes.  He is calm and confident, and has a well-rounded temperament.
