German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Bella is a two-year-old sweetie-pie whose heartless owners cast her off when they were moving (who leaves part of their family behind when they move?). She is black and tan and appears to have been well cared for. With a stable routine and a family that does not treat her like a disposable item, she will blossom into a wonderful companion.

Bella is good with other dogs her own size, but she might chase small dogs or cats. She may be a bit reserved with new dogs at first, but she loves to play so much that she warms up quickly. She is housebroken, crate trained, and is well behaved in the house. She has some basic obedience, and knows "sit" and "down". She would prefer a home with another dog and either older kids or adults only. She still get startled sometimes, so we feel that a home with small children would be a bit too much for her.

Bella desperately needs a sponsor to help defray the costs of her boarding!!! We are overflowing with dogs at our rescue, but when this little girl ran out of time at the animal shelter, we knew we had to squeeze her in.
