Chad is a stunning black and tan 5 year old male who has had obedience training.  He is housebroken.  He is sweet, mellow and, to date, has yet to find another dog he doesn't get along with.  Like some shepherds at this age, a touch of arthritis has set in, so we had him thoroughly checked out by a top veterinarian.  The prognosis is very good and the vet said "I've never seen a shepherd with such a wonderful temperament."  He's one of our favorites at the rescue because of his calmness and his sweetness.  He's so ready for a home ... on his walks he checks out every car to see if someone is coming to adopt him.  Maybe he is looking for you?

Chad was rescued from an animal shelter.  He had a foxtail embedded in his skin, which had to be removed surgically.  He is now ready to find a warm, loving new home!
