Chakara is a stunning AKC, 90 pound, 3 year old female white German Shepherd.  Chakara found herself left behind when her family had to return to Japan.  They could only take one dog and they chose to take their elderly dog.   When they contacted German Shepherd Rescue to help, we could not turn our backs on this sweet girl.

Chakara is obedience trained in both English and Japanese.  Her family had her hips x-rayed and she has OFA clearance.  Chakara loves to go for walks, rides in the car, and she gets along with other dogs of all sizes.

Chakara is quite bewildered at losing her home, so she is a little shy at first, but as you can see by the picture with our volunteer that she warms up quickly!!!

Chakara is spayed, microchipped and is current on all her shots.  The only thing missing in this sweet little girl's life is a family to call her own....  Could that lucky family be yours?
