Chester

Chester is a sweet 2 year old white shepherd boy who loves everyone.  We call him a "California Shepherd" because he's got "laid back" ears that don't like to stand up.  Chester should be a big boy, but currently he is on the thin side.  Once he has gained the weight that he needs, he will probably tip the scales around 80-90 pounds.

Chester gets along nicely with other friendly dogs and appears to be a little on the submissive side.  He is terrified of riding in the car, which tells us that he may not have been taken for many rides, OR he had a bad experience in a car... like maybe being dumped by a heartless owner.  Chester was rescued from a high-kill shelter when no one came to claim him.  He is very bewildered at being homeless and is anxious to bond with his very own person.  Please ask to meet our sweet Chester to see if you might be his special someone.

Chester is currently in boarding.  If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an application by clicking on the button below.
