Farra was adopted from our rescue when she was only 6 months old.  Her owners showed up at the rescue with her the other day, a full 6 1/2 years later, stating that they were moving and that Farra was not going with them.  Farra cried as her people left the rescue, and it was all we could do to keep from crying with her.  Here, she had been a loyal and loving member of their family most of her life, and they were abandoning her now that she is an 'inconvenience'.  We wish that they had never adopted her in the first place, but we promise to find Farra a new home where she won't be discarded again.
