Joy

Who wouldn't want a little JOY in their life?  Joy is a beautiful black and tan female.  She was someone's beloved pet at some point in her life, but somehow she got out of their yard and was picked up as a stray WITH identification.  Her owners were repeatedly contacted by phone and mail, yet they never came to reclaim Joy at the shelter.  She waited and waited, hoping that her owners would come for her, but they never did.

Joy is a very proud and regal shepherd.  She is 3-4 years old and is an excellent family dog.  Joy is housebroken and adores children.  She is also a very nice passenger in a car and acts as though she has always been accustomed to having a chauffeur.  She walks very nicely on a leash, plays ball, and has obviously had some obedience training.  Joy sleeps through the night without accidents and likes to bunk down in her own little doggie crate.  We have learned that Joy is possessive of her food and would like to be the only canine princess in her castle, so we are seeking a home without other dogs for her "happily ever after" ending.

Joy is in boarding.  If you wish to meet her, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application, or email TandBWatts@aol.com for more information.
