We can't imagine why King has been waiting so long for a home.  He is a big, beautiful 3 year old boy who is very, very sweet and has a calm disposition.  He's very gentle, which is typical at this age and what makes him so adoptable.  He seems to want to be an only dog, which would make him a fabulous companion/buddy for someone.  He just sits and waits for someone to recognize what a great dog he is ...... and sometimes looks so sad when people just pass him by.  We call him a "sleeper" - a great dog that nobody seems to know about.
