Meet Kuma! In Japanese
Kuma means Bear, and that is exactly what Kuma is...a big teddy
bear!!! Kuma is a three year old black and brown coated
shepherd. He is the most loving, easy going boy you could
find. Unfortunately, Kuma is very sad right now. He
had been living the good life with his family when all of a sudden
he found himself trapped in a cage at an animal shelter.
Kuma was used to going to work everyday
with his owner at a day camp for children, when a new 'NO DOGS AT
CAMP' rule went into effect. His owners did not know what to
do, the only work they had was at this camp and they had no place
to keep poor Kuma. Kuma was devastated about losing his
home, losing the family that loved him, and most of all losing all
of the kids that he once played with everyday.
Kuma is used to being around people and
therefore will bond quickly with his new family. When a
volunteer from the rescue went to pick him up from the shelter, he
was soo EXCITED!! He jumped into the car and rode nicely
with a two year old child, whom he kissed and kissed!
Kuma is asking for a home where he will be
loved and cherished for the big teddy bear that he is!
Kuma is
