Lord Byron:  A very noble name for a very deserving dog.

This poor guy was living in a park in a bad area for weeks.  He was starving and was an easy target for the neighborhood kids who threw rocks at him.  Finally, a kind woman took him home where he was promptly attacked by her 10 pound Chihuahua!  And not just once, mind you.  He never retaliated - he was so grateful to have someone who cared about him.

Byron is about 6-7 years of age - but that's what makes him so sweet!  He is a dark black and tan male, and once he puts some weight on, he will be a big boy!  He is very forgiving -  he has had a tough life lately, but he has a big heart and we promised him that we would do our best to find him a loving home.  He apparently has been with children in his former life - he is very patient with them.  He also seems fine with other dogs.  He will fit into any type of home - and we hope its yours!
