Sweet little Maggie came to us with a sad story. At just 3 years old, she was unceremoniously dumped at a dog park by her cruel owners. Maggie waited and waited for her beloved owner to come back for her, watching every passing face for a sign of something familiar. But her owner never returned. Luckily, she was rescued by a good Samaritan who eventually contacted our rescue. Unfortunately, this is a story that we hear all too often: Owners dumping their dogs at dog parks, schools, discount stores, industrial areas and construction sites simply because they are too selfish or lazy to take the dog to a humane society, or better still, hang on to it!

Maggie is sweet and affectionate. She has just arrived so we are just getting to know her better. At first impressions, we believe that she would get along with other non-aggressive dogs nicely, but no small dogs please.
