Max is a handsome 2 year old long-haired German Shepherd.  He may even be a special type of shepherd called a "Shiloh" or a "King" Shepherd because of his size and coloring.  He is a big boy, and has a gorgeous sable coat.  He is very friendly, and is good with children.  He is good with other non-aggressive dogs once he is introduced.  He has some basic obedience training, and he knows how to "sit", "shake", "down", and walks nicely on leash.  He is a healthy and active dog, and he can't wait to get into his forever home.

Max's owners had to move, and they could not take this gorgeous boy with them.  We rescued him out of a San Diego shelter when his time had run out.
