Nika is a beautiful 5 year old female with gorgeous dark markings. She is friendly and loving and is particularly fond of children. Nika is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. She loves to toss her toys around in the backyard. Nika is a little bit on the plump side because her elderly owners have not been able to walk her as much as they used to. However, her coat is shiny and thick and she is very healthy and energetic. She gets along well with non-aggressive dogs, but if challenged by a strange dog, she will defend herself.

Nika has a very cute feature: When she was originally found as a stray, she arrived with a bobbed tail! Her tail resembles that of a Rottweiler, but she can sure wiggle it just like it was a full shepherd tail! Nika's little stump really gets going when she is happy or excited to see you!

Nika's elderly owners can no longer care for her. They have asked for our help in getting this very nice dog a permanent, loving home.
