Reggie

German Shepherd Rescue received a call about a heartbreaking situation.  It seems a heartless person took their German Shepherd Dog and dumped him at a local dog park.  There this loyal boy waited, day after day, for his person to return for him.  No one ever came... He had been abandoned in the most cruel manner possible.  Finally, some good Samaritans took him and called German Shepherd Rescue.  Although our rescue is beyond full (as you can see from the long list of dogs looking for homes), there was no way that we could turn our backs on this gentle soul.

On a recent outing to Central Park in Huntington Beach, Reggie was the hit of the park.  He warmly greeted everyone, including a toy poodle.  Reggie is a total sweetheart.  Although, it appears he was treated rather harshly, he adores everyone, especially children.

Reggie will bond very strongly with his new family.  As you can see in his pictures, he loves to cuddle.  Reggie is a very large boy and, with some good nutrition and grooming, he will be a stunning dog.  Reggie is approximately 4 1/2 to 5 years old.  He is neutered, de-wormed, and current on all his shots.

The only thing missing in his life is a family to call his own...  Could you be that special family?

Reggie is in a foster home.  If you wish to meet him, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application, or call (714) 206-9002 and ask about meeting Reggie.
