This is Sadie, a beautiful AKC registered 6 year old female.  Sadie's owner died, and his wife then restricted Sadie to the backyard.  Sadie is a very sweet and loving dog, and deserves better than to be thrown out in the backyard to be ignored and neglected.

Sadie is used to children, and she gets along well with cats.  Sadie is good with dogs her own size once she gets to know them, but she is not especially fond of small dogs.  Sadie is a strong girl, and would do well with a refresher course in obedience.  She has been very depressed to find herself in this situation, and has been very talkative with our volunteers.  She was eager to find someone willing to listen to her for a change!  Sadie tells us that she would like a quiet home where she will be an important family member and will spend time with her new people.  Oh, and she would also like to request a nice comfortable bed and lots of treats.
