Sassy is a darling 3 month
old black and tan female. She is a typical bouncy pup --
getting into everything, and exploring the world with her mouth.
She is friendly and playful, and as cute as could be.
In Sassy's first 3 months of
life, she has already lost one home due to "barking". Her
owners brought her into a shelter because apparently they did not
think that a puppy should bark!
Sassy is currently in a foster home.
If you are interested in adopting Sassy, or another puppy, please
fill out our online adoption application. We get a waiting
list of people who want puppies, while the young adult dogs (who
were just puppies a few months ago) have to wait for someone to
want them.
But before you fill out a puppy
application, please take some
time to consider the time, effort, money and love that you will
need to devote to a puppy for the rest of it's 10-15 year life.
Puppies are only small for a short time. In just a short few
months, Sassy will be a young adult dog like many of the others
that you see on our website. She needs someone who can spend
time with her, obedience train her, and help her to be a loving
family member for the rest of her life.
Adopting a puppy should not be a
spur-of-the-moment decision. Everyone loves puppies, but far
too often they are adopted without considering the long-term
responsibility involved. Please don't let this happen to
Sassy again. She has already lost one home, let's make sure
this next one is her forever-home!
