Sparkle is a gorgeous, dark black and tan 12 month old female.  She is a medium-sized girl, probably weighing around 70-75 pounds.  As she grows and matures, she will continue to fill out.  She is a playful and athletic girl, and would do well in a home with an active family.  She is pretty strong on a leash, and needs to go through an obedience training class with her new people.  She is responsive and intelligent, and will learn quickly.

Sparkle's family abandoned her at a crowded animal shelter.  Because of their failure to obedience train her as a young puppy, they probably felt that she was too active for them.  With a little training, Sparkle is going to be the type of dog who stops traffic!
