What a sweetheart Stella is!
She is a petite black and silver female, approximately 12 months
old. She is calm and quiet and gets along nicely with other
non-aggressive dogs. Stella walks politely on a leash and
pays attention when you talk to her. We suspect that she is
housebroken. When introduced to cats, she didn't appear to
have any interest. Stella lets you know that she likes you
by giving shy kisses. Only her favorite people get them, but
you can become one of her favorite people quickly by giving her
lots of praise and affection!
Stella was turned in to a crowded shelter by owners who claimed to have "no time for her". We are so sad that this terrific little dog didn't have people who appreciated her loyalty and charm. With your help, we'll do much better for her in her next -- and permanent -- home. THE SECOND MOST COMMON REASON THAT WE SEE DOGS ABANDONED IS THE "NO TIME FOR" EXCUSE. PLEASE BE CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE READY TO COMMIT TO A DOG FOR ITS ENTIRE LIFE (10-15 years) BEFORE ADOPTING!!! Stella is in a boarding facility.
