Meet Ariel -- 13 pounds of
cuteness all rolled up in a furry bundle! Ariel is an 10
week old german shepherd pup with a beautiful face and eyes that
don't quit. Ariel is black and tan with just a touch of
white on her tippy-toes, giving her a very feminine touch.
She is affectionate and bonds very quickly to people.
Ariel was given up by her owners because she was playing too roughly with their Chihuahua. Ariel told us that it wasn't her fault -- no one bothered to teach her how to play with a Chihuahua -- she thought it was just another German Shepherd puppy, so she played as she would with her siblings. Puppies are a great deal of work and require a tremendous investment of time and resources. It's easy to love the sweet face and playful ways of a puppy, but please do not consider adopting a puppy unless you are prepared to care for him or her with all of your might for the next 10 to 13 years. They are not cute playthings -- they are a HUGE responsibility. Ariel is in a foster home.
