Whoever named this sweetie, when he was a pup, didn't realize that all German Shepherd Dog puppies are black until their coloring comes in.  Blackie is actually a gorgeous black and tan shepherd.  He has classic colors and markings.  Blackie was turned in by his owners to a very crowded animal shelter.  It seems that Blackie's owners expected him to be a vicious attack dog and he just doesn't have it in him!  Blackie is 3-4 years old and very sweet.  He enjoys the company of other non-aggressive dogs and loves people.  Blackie says that even though he wants a home very badly, please don't ask him to live with cats.  Blackie loves small dogs and female dogs his own size but he is rather suspicious of large male dogs.
