Foxy

When one of our volunteers went out to a very crowded animal shelter to rescue a couple of dogs, Ms. Foxy was sitting in the front of her kennel just waiting for someone to take her with them.  At first glance, Foxy looks like a miniature German Shepherd.  She has black and tan markings and a classic black saddle.  After meeting Foxy and falling in love with her personality, our volunteer realized that Foxy was a small shepherd mix... possibly mixed with Terrier.  Our volunteer, knowing that this was Foxy's last day, could not leave her to die at the shelter.  So, Foxy is now safe with German Shepherd Rescue and looking for a home of her own!

Foxy is about 18 months old and weighs about 45 pounds.  She gets along nicely with other dogs and loves to play.  As they say, good things come in small packages, especially at this time of year!  Please come and meet this sweet, petite girl.

Foxy is currently in a boarding kennel.  If you are interested in meeting her, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application.
