German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Jerry is a handsome 10-11 month old black and red male. He has a gorgeous plush coat. He is very sweet and a little shy, but he warms up quickly. He loves attention, and will put his head in your lap while you scratch his head. He is very thin right now, and needs to put on some weight. His ears are soft, giving his a darling look.

Jerry and his littermate, Ben, came from a breeder who turned them in to the animal shelter because he had "too many dogs". Maybe some day he will figure out that his actions are contributing to the pet overpopulation problem, causing the deaths of many animals who end up unwanted at the shelter. Ben and Jerry were lucky to get into the rescue in the nick of time, or they would have been euthanized at the shelter.
