German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Meet the her highness, Miss Brinkley, a beautiful 4 year old female with a luxurious black and red coat that positively shines with good health. Brinkley is a devoted and affectionate girl who is housebroken and obedience trained. She is playful and energetic, and would love to go walking or biking with you. Brinkley is a good-sized female, weighing in around 65 pounds. She has had excellent care and regular vet exams throughout her life, and is accustomed to sleeping in the bedroom near her family. Brinkley gets along nicely with male dogs her own size, but she is not especially fond of smaller dogs. Most importantly, Brinkley tells us that she would like to be the only princess in the castle, so no other female dogs, please.

Brinkley was raised from a pup to be the companion to her big sister, another female shepherd. As Brinkley continues to mature, she has been challenging her older sister more and more for pack dominance and the intensity of the fighting is increasing. Because there can only be one alpha female in the pack, Brinkley's family feels that they must give her up for the health and safety of their senior female dog.
