When a GSR volunteer journeyed to a far-flung shelter to rescue one of our orphans, he came back to us with the dog that he had been sent for and a stowaway! Little Legend is a 6-7 month old "shepherd plus" who stole the volunteer's heart. One look at this little bundle of fur cowering beside all the bigger, louder dogs in the shelter and the volunteer knew that he couldn't leave Legend behind. Legend is safely in the care of German Shepherd Rescue and we have promised this deserving pup that we will find him a loving forever home.
Legend is a "bi-colored" German Shepherd, and he may have a little bit of Doberman in him. He is a typical large-breed puppy who will make someone a faithful companion. Legend is in boarding and is desperately seeking a sponsor to offset the costs of his nightly room rate! When our rescue is full, we are forced to seek space in public boarding facilities, and we must pay for each kennel by the night at a charge of $12-$15 per night!
