Gabriel came to us in bad shape.  This gorgeous, big 4 year old male was probably hit by a car and never received medical care.  His front leg is badly damaged and has not healed properly.  We are trying to raise the money to get him the surgery he needs so that he can live a happy and healthy life.  At this point, we are not sure whether he will have to lose his leg or not, but we hope to be able to raise enough money to get him to a specialist for a surgical consulation.  If you can help Gabriel, please click here to learn how to make a donation, and be sure to mention that your contribution should go towards Gabriel's surgery fund!

March 2, 2005:
Gabriel's leg had to be amputated because the damage was too extensive.  He is now recovering from surgery at the rescue, but he is hopeful that he will find a new home soon.  He is such a sweet boy who has a great attitude in spite of everything he has been through.  Please come and meet this special boy!
