Charlie
|

|
Charlie is a big, sweet doofus. At age 3, he is happy, healthy and eager to have a family of his own. Charlie is a plush-coat shepherd--meaning that his fur is longer and a a little curlier than the traditional shepherd coat--so he looks a little bit like a furry lion. He is very sociable and seems to get along well with other friendly dogs. Charlie would love to have a family with kids who will play with him and let him watch over them while they play.
Charlie almost didn't make it out of the animal shelter alive. Due to severe crowding in the shelter, German Shepherd Rescue was told that Charlie would lose his life THAT DAY if he wasn't rescued. One of our devoted volunteers made the long drive to a distant shelter to get him and she alwmost didn't make it in time due to a flat tire en route! Fortunately, Charlie is now safely under our wing, where he is being treated for a mild case of kennel cough and waiting very anxiously to find a loving family. Charlie is in boarding while he waits for his forever home.
