Faith

Two of our volunteers were at a local animal hospital when a man walked in and asked, "Did anyone lose a shepherd?" We looked at each other and said, "No, but we'll take her!" She was running loose in an industrial area and had recently had surgery. One of the vets said that it looked like she had been spayed. After looking for her owners unsuccessfully, we adopted her to a loving family. They recently came under hard times and had to return her to us - with her puppy..... So now we have Faith and Bear - and we are confident that -- this time -- both have been spayed and neutered! Bear has been adopted to a wonderful and loving home.

Faith is approximately 4 years old and a gorgeous black and tan female.

We have decided to place them in seperate homes because Faith can be a little too bossy with Bear. Faith would prefer being the only dog in the home and would be best in an adult-only home with experienced Shepherd owners. She is very protective of her property and people. She takes a little while to warm up to people, but once she knows you then she is a squirming mass of kisses.

If you are interested in meeting Faith, please fill out the online application.
