Magic

Magic is a spectacular all-black German Shepherd with a beautiful physique and striking amber eyes. He turns heads everywhere he goes with our volunteers. Magic has a special spring to his step when our volunteers are around. This is quite an amazing dog considering that in addition to being tossed out of the car and abandoned in front of our Rescue by a callous owner, Magic had classic signs of abuse and neglect. Naturally, it will take some time getting acquainted with Magic. But boy is this stunning shepherd worth it!

In spite of his rough past, Magic is one of the most affectionate, joyful dogs and with such capacity to receive and return love. He even enjoys getting bathed and massaged by the caring hands of our volunteers. Magic is known for resting his head in our arms as if to show his trust and appreciation for the gentle and loving care.

Although we have had several adoptive families interested in Magic, we are particular in selecting one where he will thrive. Magic is an active young dog who loves to play and go for walks and hikes. That said, Magic does love to play as much as he loves to just sit by you and watch TV, or have his head or belly rubbed. Magic is protective and will do best with an experienced owner or family.
