Stormy

Stormy was hit by a car. A kind shelter worker informed us about this amazingly sweet dog, and stayed long after normal business hours so that we could pick up the dog.

The breaks in her arm were so severe that the doctor called in an additional specialist to assist with the 6 hour surgery. In spite of the extreme pain, she only had kisses and wags for everyone.

Stormy is now resting and recuperating at the rescue, as well as getting some much needed TLC. She's wearing a flexible collar rather than a cast because we need to monitor for swelling in her arm at all times. She's incredibly sweet and affectionate -- not to mention gorgeous!

Once she heals, Stormy will be ready for someone to take her home and love her! Our medical bills for her surgery and care are already several thousand dollars. Any donations to our medical fund would help us with that bill.
