Sampson

Sampson is an active, young shepherd with an apparent hint of Belgian influence which gives him a striking and delicate appearance. He is a good-natured, happy, bouncy guy whose tail wags constantly. Sampson is full of energy and will do well in an active home with lots of play time including daily walks, jogs or hikes. He is an eager student and is quickly learning some basic obedience. He is also inquisitive and likes to chase lizards and squirrels. Sampson is very athletic and may even excel at agility training. He runs like a gazelle and can effortlessly scale any hillside. This 3 year old would be an excellent hiking companion.

Sampson was abandoned at a busy intersection off the freeway. He arrived filthy and full of fox tails from head to toe. Some were so deeply embedded in his coat that they had to be surgically removed.

We are just getting to know Sampson, and would recommend a home without young children, as he is just now learning not to jump up on people to share his affection. Sampson may have a preference for women and appears to like other dogs.
